Medical

Medical micropigmentation and MCA are ideal for people who have suffered from burns, scarring and skin imperfections that need camouflaging, cleft lips that need visually reconstructing, and for anyone that has had any form of surgery on their breasts. Most of these procedures are multi-treatments. Medical micropigmentation involves pigment being added to the skin to soften and blend the colour of the scar, so it matches the surrounding tissue. MCA is a risk-free treatment that works by stimulating the skin cells to regenerate and produce collagen, elastin and melanin. The procedure aggravates the cells so the body helps to repair itself. This helps to re-pigment scars and relax taught scar tissue that has been caused by injury, burns or surgery. MCA can also be used as an alternative anti-ageing treatment, as it is not injecting solutions like botox or fillers into the skin, just purely working millimeters from the surface tissue to help it repair itself naturally.

Nipple and areola reconstruction

As a result of surgery such as breast reconstruction, the nipple and areola can often be left missing or damaged. Medical micropigmentation can recreate and correct the impairment. It can also darken the areola if the patient is naturally pale in these areas. MCA, a dry needling procedure can be used to minimise post-operative scarring.

Skin Grafts and burns

Medical micropigmentation can have the most dramatic effect on patients that have suffered a burn or skin graft. By introducing a matched pigment into the affected area, a mosaic effect is tattooed into the skin to camouflage the area and produce a natural looking result.

Scars

Whether you have scars as a result of an accident or surgery, various treatments, including MCA, can help to minimise or camouflage the affected areas, blending and softening the colour so that it matches your natural skin tone.

Scalp camouflage and stubble

Ideal for those small areas of the body where hair should but just won’t grow, this procedure copies the natural look of hair with a 3D effect that eliminates those naked patches of skin. Please note that this treatment is not suitable for large areas and male pattern baldness.

Cleft lip

Medical micropigmentation can correct the visual after-effects of this congenital disorder. The procedure will help to restore the symmetry to the top lip. It can also reposition the Cupid’s bow to the centre of the lip and flatten and soften the visual scars that are a result of the corrective surgery.

Vitiligo

Vitiligo can affect all parts of the body, although it is more common on the hands and face. It is a chronic form of de-pigmentation and treatment is only recommended after a static period of seven years. The procedure involves introducing a pigment that matches and blends with the natural skin colour and the results achieved are excellent.

Stretch marks

Micropigmentation is extremely successful at softening the stretch marks from white to a colour that matches your natural skin tone. However, it won’t completely eradicate the scars, as they have a silver sheen to them which cannot be totally camouflaged. After treatment though, the stretch mark will be able to absorb sunlight and this will result in the skin being re-pigmented.

Wrinkle rejuvenation

It is a fact of life that as we get older the elasticity in our skin reduces causing wrinkles. By using needles to agitate the skin, lips can be plumped, and the lines around the eyes and brows can be reduced. Although completely safe, the results are better on some than on others and there is a never a cast iron guarantee that this treatment will be a panacea to all your wrinkle problems. However this is definitely a more natural route to take before considering a surgical option.

Pigment lightening or removal

Do you have an unwanted or unsightly tattoo, stopping you from looking or feeling confident? This Multi-treatment non-laser tattoo removal procedure is effective on all colours (including green and yellow which lasers find difficult to remove) and all tattoo inks and semi/permanent make-up pigments. The system works by tattooing into the original with an extraction formula which bonds the ink/pigment, it could take 3-4 treatments, and semi permanent make-up 1 treatment, but this is just a guideline as depth of tattoo and skin tissue plays an important role in removal.
